Web internet marketing newbies make very common errors that result in de-motivation and failure when starting out on a web Internet marketing business The biggest issue is that they fail to put focus into the right things. So, what you may ask do I mean by the right things?
The right things mean developing systems and practices a formula if you like that do not waste time and money. OK I will keep this short “focus on things that will produce revenue” I know this sounds obvious but far too many people get carried away with social networks, micro blogging commenting on other peoples blogs and of course trying to do forum marketing before the basics have been learned.
These are just a few things people waste time and effort on with little or no return. So instead of Social networks, Traffic exchanges, Micro blogging, forum posting, blog posting, wouldn’t you think your time would be better spent building your online presence by developing your business on the internet through your own products and or services?
For goodness sakes you have been an online marketer for how long? and you do not have your own product yet. That statement still rings in my ears, it came from a friend and mentor of mine and it changed my internet marketing business for ever and turned it around in less than 90 days.
Here’s what I did case study if you like. I found a PDF that was a few years out of date, but the basics were still somewhat applicable although the technology it referred to had come a long way since it was written, so what did I do? simple really I re wrote it, added around double it’s original content so it was up to the minute, I produced screen shots of exactly how to do this and added them to the e-book to show people how it was done instead of just telling them.
Well the rest is history and the following month I did a camtasia video presentation using Powerpoint and those same screen shots but this time live on video and I started selling the DVD on e-bay. what happened next was awesome, several established web internet marketing pro’s found the product and asked to do a joint venture to promote it. Here’s where size doesn’t matter, my list was less than 100 at the time, after this was launched, well you can imagine the result, my JV partners did all of the work in marketing this for me and I gave 60% commission. Wow!
So you see web internet marketing really doesn’t have to be difficult at all, you just sometimes need to be pointed in the right direction. Since those days I have learned oh so much so now I tell you. Here is my number one tip that will save you time and money with web internet marketing
Don’t try to do it all by yourself – it’s the biggest cause of failure!
Try to outsource tasks that take a lot of time and are boring I’m not saying don’t do them just get someone else to do them. As an example, don’t write articles and e-books if you don’t like doing so and it de motivates you,get someone else to do it for you that’s why we have the likes of o-desk and e-lance, get my point here? you can still achieve internet marketing business success without doing all the mundane stuff yourself.
This will give you time to do the important internet marketing business things, such as finding new products and marketing the products that you have in addition to any affiliate products that make you Money, because that’s what this business on the internet thing is all about “Making Money”. You will be pleasantly surprised at how little outsourcing can cost, but I will tell you this, it will save you a lot of time and hugely increase your focus on the important stuff. Take a look at every successful business on the internet, and you’ll find that they all outsource to get things done quickly.
Focus on your own internet marketing products to establish your business on the internet, leave the lower priority stuff like social networks and micro blogging to exactly what they are – lower priority, go and make your mark, trust me if you have been involved with an internet marketing business for any length of time you already know more than enough to go out and make your own product.
This way, you’ll make better progress towards growing your business on the Internet. Web Internet Marketing doesn’t have to be boring unproductive or hard work, but that’s how it will appear if you do not make use of outsourcing resources and automation.
