My reincarnation was an experience still fresh in my mind. Leaving my last body rather suddenly I was above that of a man of around 45 years old. Then in total darkness and with the Spirit a job was seriously on my mind. It had to be done and the next life would at last see it accomplished. Then a vision showed me the life ahead as a line drawn out in front which pitched up and down. Along it were dates but only one stood out and was remembered, that of 45 years.
Then above my next parents they were being married on a date that is recorded and almost exactly one month before I was born. My memory from day 1 is very clear. As if to prove it my mother was shocked when I showed her a building in which we lived and described it inside. The look on her face and the effect it obviously had on her is itself memorable as she retorted; “You couldn’t possibly know that, you were only three and a half weeks old when we moved.
That taught me to shut up. The world was not ready to hear of my experience and there was a lot of learning ahead of me. The notions of heaven and hell were everywhere and people accepted that they just float up when they die or they are sent to hell.
At first this worried me a lot. Why would people think these things when there is no evidence for either place? When in my teens a friend suddenly stated that hell is not what a good God would do to anyone. But I had other ideas. Hell for me is what people go through in life to be acceptable by religious leaders who approve them to go to heaven.
Then an old lady made the most sensible statement about them. In a rather crowded coffee shop in the CBD I sat opposite her when she was at first reading a book. She stopped reading and started a conversation. Then she stated: “You know love, with all them rocket ships and things they’re sending up there they ain’t found heaven yet.”
She was a down to earth rough type but dear and sweet and she made me think about how space travel must be impacting on those who think there is a heaven beyond the clouds.
This is the problem religions now face. There is no evidence for their claims of heaven or paradise and yet many still go along with it. They live their lives in horror as they fulfill what governments and religious organisation put upon them. Reincarnation is something they have outlawed because it is more dangerous to their survival than anything that has gone before. It proves, beyond doubt, that their dogma is false and their gods are make-believe.
