Many people in internet marketing and multi-level marketing prefer to avoid any conversation about ethics. I don’t believe that this is because they are unethical or use questionable tactics in their marketing. I believe that this is because most of them don’t really know how to address the issue.
I’ll be the first to admit that I use very strong marketing messages. I don’t think there is anything wrong with this – as long as you deliver a very high quality product or service. If someone hardly promises anything and delivers almost nothing then they are being dishonest with their marketing.
For a variety of reasons, mostly related to the anonymous and ever changing nature of the internet, it is very easy for unscrupulous operators to lie, cheat and steal their way to making huge profits. My network marketing training is focused on teaching people to understand how to market their network marketing business online so they don’t fall prey to these people selling secret methods and systems that don’t work. I try to ensure that as many prospects as possible as exposed to my network marketing training so as to reduce the likelihood that they will fall for these aggressive marketing schemes. This can be challenging as new people are always entering our marketplace and they often fall victim before they are able to learn enough to avoid the traps. Anyone who is considering joining a multi-level marketing business should find some quality network marketing training courses and educate themselves. Having a good understanding of the basics will give them enough knowledge to properly evaluate all of the recruiting and marketing systems out there and be able to make an informed decision about which ones are actually worth using or at least trying.
Another reason the multi-level marketing industry gets a bad reputation is that many people are lazy. They join a business, expect to get rich overnight and don’t put any effort into it. They then post all over the online forums and message boards about how Company ABC is such a rip-off. If they would spend a little time and effort taking some network marketing training and educate themselves about how the business really works maybe they would understand that this is not a get rich quick business and there is no secret to success. You need to find as many network marketing training courses as you can, learn as much as you can and then take action. Then you need to make sure that every prospect and every person you recruit is exposed to the same quality network marketing training as you were. Knowledge will disrupt the ability of the unethical operators to make money and force them out of our industry.
