Network marketing has is made up of two basic parts. The first part is networking or building a group of friends, acquaintances, business contacts, etc. The second part is marketing or promoting your products and business opportunity. There are many ways to accomplish these two things.
One of my favorite ways to connect with many new people and market my abilities in network marketing is through this blog. I enjoy sharing my knowledge in MLM’s and it also opens a new market up to my business.
Why is a blog a good network marketing method?
A blog is a great way to connect with people because you are not actively out hunting down prospects but they are hunting you. I write about network marketing so if you happened upon this blog then it was because you are searching for MLM’s or network marketing. I am already getting access to a targeted group of people.
I now have a group of people that are being introduced to me through my blog. Now I have to give them value or prove my worth to them. I do this by offering great articles, ideas on how to succeed in network marketing, and how to grow your MLM. This is how we go from a introduction to becoming networked with people.
We have the first step covered. We have developed a new network of people to market too. How can we market with a blog? I like to use my newsletter to add value and offer opportunities to my readers. It is simple to create a valuable newsletter with great links to affiliate sites. This is just the beginning of a sales funnel that leads to my primary business.
I have offered tons of value and positioned myself as a leader and valued source of information long before I ever introduce my primary business. I don’t like to try and convince people of the value of the MLM business model or that I am knowledgeable about this business. My blog does these things for me.
A blog is a great network marketing tool for those who take the time to create content and enjoy writing. If you aren’t a great writer you can out source these things but to me it is just better to develop your skills as a writer or find a different way to market. I will go over some other way to market soon.
