I want to tell you about one of the most underrated, yet effective Marketing Strategies on the internet today, Forum Marketing. This Marketing Strategy is one that most of the top producers in network marketing use, but don’t like to share with anyone else. It is so powerful, they want to keep it to themselves. I want to change that. So here is a list of the steps it takes to use Forum Marketing to Generate Free Leads for Your Network Marketing Business.
1) Pick 2 – 3 Forums that you can post on daily
You will want to pick 2 high traffic forums and one that is niche specific. Spend as much time as you can on the forums you pick. The more time you spend giving quality responses on other people’s topics, the more leads you can get. Now this will be time consuming, but remember it’s free!
Here is a little “insider” trick to find niche specific forums.
Go to Google and type in: Site:.com”powered by vbulletin” Network Marketing (for different niches put your keyword where network marketing is)
2) Your Signature
Your signature is where you can put the link that you would like people to click. If you use your blog link, you can get backlinks to the forums. This is a very powerful Marketing Strategy for getting traffic to your blog. I won’t go into detail right now about backlinks, but they are very good for traffic to your site. So you bloggers out there can use Forum Marketing as well, for your backlinks.
Alright now, back to your “signature”. I will show you how to access your signature in “the forum for warriors”(wink wink), because it is probably the best forum for you to be active on.
First, register as a member of the forum you pick, for personal branding reasons, use your name as your username. Second, login to the forum, find where you can edit your signature. You should also complete the rest of your profile and always have a good, professional looking picture.
Now in order to put a link in your signature, you will need to write a little code, don’t get nervous, it is easy and I will show you how to do it.

Now, your advertisement should be original, so please don’t use this one, be creative, come up with something better. The underlined part is the link. But, only “Click Here Now!” will show up as a hyperlink. If you want all of the text to be a hyperlink, put it inside of the ] [.
3) Strategy
Ok, here is the strategy you will use in Forum Marketing. You must start posting on other people’s discussions. Read through them, find topics that are niche specific and answer questions if you can. Always post quality content. Do you think people will be drawn to your link if you just put something like “great post man.” No, I promise you that they will not click your link. Be articulate, in your answers, share your knowledge. You want to show potential leads what you have to offer them. The more knowledgeable that you appear to be, the more people will be inclined to check you out (click your link).
Once, you have posted on other people’s topics, you can start to create your own topics. Some of the forums, will not allow you to start your own topic, until you have posted on other topic’s. That is why I recommend doing it, besides being active on these forums can only help you create more leads. Remember, you must write quality stuff and write with purpose. You can even use your blog posts as topics. When you create the topic, your link will always be at the top of the thread, so everyone will see it. That’s great exposure, for free.
