Some people maybe literally clueless about internet marketing so when you’re teaching them, you’ll need to start from the scratch. I suggest that you group your clients based on their level of expertise. You might also get clients who are just looking for advanced techniques. These are those who are into internet marketing already but are not just getting the kind of results that they’re hoping for. So, all you need to do is share insider tips, trade secrets, and advanced techniques.

Things to cover. If you’re coaching people who do not know a thing about internet marketing, you’ll need to discuss the following to effectively help them out; search engines and SEO, keyword research and analysis, traffic-generation, reputation building and management, content based marketing solutions, social media marketing, viral marketing, video marketing, social bookmarking, and link building. It would help if you provide a separate course for each topic. Do not move to the next one unless your clients master each tool.

Channels to use. There are so many channels that you can use to share your in-depth knowledge with other people. There’s email, phone, and VoIP. You can also send them CD or DVD series or if they prefer, you can coach them face-to-face. When choosing the mediums to use, it’s important that you always take the preference of your clients into consideration after all, they’re always right.
