Whether it’s in the form of being published in a newspaper or magazine, or being featured on radio or television, having the media help to promote your business is a very simple yet overlooked technique by many network marketers. Here is how simple the process is to incorporate the media into your plan for how to market your MLM business.
You write a press release and submit it to the major directories. Be sure to include a telephone number and an email address, so that people can contact you after they’ve read it. When this is done properly, you will produce two key results: (1) you will generate leads/prospects; and (2) you can have media outlets contacting you wanting to do a story based on one of your press releases.
The latter is golden… and really what you’re trying to accomplish by using press releases as a way to market your MLM business. Yes, you will most certainly get leads from doing this. More importantly, though, you’ll get a far greater reach when the media contacts you and gives your press release attention.
