the game is increased to 128 Hz it can still handle your commands instantly Microtick updates also decrease input lag ensuring that the server responds to your actions without any glitches or delays Valves technical enhancements to the game are only the beginning The company is working on dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve how smoke interacts with the surrounding and is updating all maps with highresolution lighting textures and models Source 2 tools and features will be used to update all CS GO cosmetics and weapons Maps The next update for Counter Strike New brings new maps and a few classics with facelifts The updates are being tested in a limited beta The first set of maps includes upgrade and touchstone maps that will not see major changes to gameplay while others have created by Helsingin Sanomat Finlands national newspaper The newspaper has been vocal in its criticism of Russias actions towards Ukraine The map is based off of the conflictravaged Donetsk The map is called devoyna and includes a variety of references to the war In the future the developer will soon be releasing a collection of Source 2 tools for community map creators to make their own maps This will include features like improved lighting and reading of characters as well as physicallybased rendering that creates realistic materials and textures It will also make it easier to implement realworld objects like windows and doors The update is expected to be released in the summer of this year
