There are all kinds of tools on the internet that can make your life easier when it comes to marketing your business successfully. You have keyword tools, software that’s supposed to automate your marketing, and even joint venture software. But you should know that most of these tools are totally unnecessary when it comes to making money in your online business.
Today I want to share with you a few of my favorite traffic strategies that you can also learn to get traffic to your website. Once you hear these strategies, you’ll be wondering why you never started doing them before. Let’s go ahead and proceed with the first online marketing strategy that I want to show you:
1) Video marketing
I love YouTube. It’s a fantastic site, and can be a great medium for marketing your products and services. I personally visit YouTube a lot everyday. Mostly to listen to music and to watch funny videos, but I also use it to upload videos for my business. So even though YouTube can be used for fun, it can also be a great marketing tool for you in your business.
If you didn’t already know, YouTube is the number 3 ranked website on the internet in terms of traffic. The 2 sites that are number 2 and number 1 is Facebook (number 2), and Google (number 1). Now if you had the chance to advertise on a website that is ranked number 3 on the entire internet, wouldn’t you do it?
Most beginners get discouraged when it comes to using YouTube to market their products and services. Initially they don’t get a lot of views, so they feel that it’s totally pointless to waste their time posting to a site that isn’t even producing for them. But I disagree. YouTube can be made profitable for your website, and don’t let anyone tell you differently. Here’s another online marketing strategy:
2) Email marketing
This is very important for your business. Not only is the money in the list, but it can be a recurring traffic generator for you. It will boost your Alexa rankings, and your conversion rates will be off the charts. If right now you’re leading people to your pitch page, switch strategies and send them to a squeeze page first, then continue to market to these people over and over again. This is the easiest way to make money in your business.
I don’t want you to think that internet marketing is hard, because it isn’t. Focus on ways to get traffic to your site, and keep doing these strategies each and everyday. Eventually you’ll make a ton of money in your online business sooner rather than later.
